Sounds like we have a similar number of 22's in our collections.

Smith 17 (70's version) and a High Standard Trophy. Never looked at which one is more accurate, but the High Standard has a great trigger and excellent sights. Love the factory target grips also.

You can never have to many .22's. Might want to take a look at some of the older models. Get some history in your collection. The following would be my top3 shiooters.

        K-22
Gold Trigger 39A passed down from in the family
        Marlin Mountie

Hands Down Rev, and lever actions best in .22's.

Guess I'm gonna go with my Colt New Frontier .22LR Buntline. I really like the smaller frame and the 'click click click click' of the Colt action.

I still use the Buckmark with iron sights too, I'll get a pretty one with a red dot in the future and a TacSol barrel too.

I've owned a boat load of .22 handguns over the years but my most favorite is one I currently own: SIG Trailside 4" barrel with adjustable sights. This pistol is incredibly accurate. I was a bit sceptical of how durable it would be since it seems to have a great amount of non traditional materials used in it (plastic magazine for example) but after about 5k rounds it hasn't missed a beat. Feeds, functions perfectly and the accuracy is outstanding.

I also have Ciener conversion for my Beretta 92, Browning HP and Government model. The Government model kit is mounted on a Norinco frame so I have it as a dedicated 1911A1 rimfire. One other fun .22: H&R 777 Ultra top break 9 shot single action revolver. Lots of fun. My younger son feels like Indiana Jones when she shoots it, breaks it open and reloads rapidly.
