Not in a holster. Condition 1 in the holster. You go to Condition 0 during the draw.
I've never seen an American flag burned at a gun show.

THe key is that you said, "sitting" how about if you were "handling" on a day-to-day basis, safe?

I remove it from the safe every evening, clear it, dry fire a few times, reload, chamber a round place it in bedside table every night.

        Hasn't gone boom once.

The gun is perfectly safe provided the operator doesn't behave like a jackarse.

the bottom line is that if you are depending on a feature of a gun to keep you from having a negligent discharge then you werent handling the gun properly in the first place

Either M&P .40 or a G30 this weekend at the OC gun show. I guess Sunday will let me know!?!?!?

I'm going to check out the glockstore at the fair, has anyone here dealt with them?

Their simplicity makes them safe because safety is dependent on the user and the simpler something is, the easier it is for the operator.

Only ones I'm hearing going KABOOM are 22, 23 and 27. Must be something about the 40S&W round. With that said I carry 3rd Gen 23 and 27 due to the 40S&W being a good median between the 9 vs 45 crowd. I just load up with 155 grain and down regular JHP loading. The 40 is hot enough to even consider hotrodding.

Uh, I don't think so. I thought Glock just got a bunch of designers together and the figured out a design that they thought would work well, not mimic another action. Glock triggers aren't even remotely the same s a DA trigger.

Actually the most kaboom'd Glock is the G21 because it is the easiest to get over pressure. It's only rated for 21,000 copper units of pressure, versus a 40S&W at 35,000 cups. And the .45acp has a huge case volume, so heavy bullets with fast powders with short OAL can easily be kaboom'd
