A double action revolver with a transfer bar?

Look all you gotta do is undertand how your gun works and work with it. A 1911 is very safe with the safety on.

A Glock is safe too, just keep your finger off the trigger. DA revolvers are seemingly safer because if your finger brushes the trigger, it's 12 lb trigger pull helps you not shoot your leg.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

kalifornia's safe gun roster is there for our protection, to ensure no unsafe guns are available to the public. thankfully we have an enlightened and concerned legislature that watches out for those evil corporations out to harm us by selling us defective and dangerous things.

since glocks are on the list, then they must be safe. apparently 4th gen glocks are unsafe and should never be handled. stay away from them.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

It's as safe as a double action revolver...
Folks have carried them for over 100 years.
                      No trigger safety either...
I carry a g30SF, in a Crossbreed IWB, and just be careful when holstering it, and you'll be fine.
Don't forget to try the new G30S, as well as the 30 & 30SF.
For me, the .45 is a softer kick than the .40.

Finger off the trigger and placed carefully into holster.

This is the trolliest thread I've read in a while. I think I got cancer while reading OP's questions.

Is the OP serious? If you're a CCW permit holder, dear lord, I would hope you understand more than what you're letting onto about the safety of a loaded gun.

Your term "ignorant discharges" is so spot on. Guns are inanimate objects. They don't have any ignorance. The operator, on the other hand...

Know your weapon. Train with your weapon. Respect the lethality of your weapon.

And for christ sakes, use a good holster if you're going to stuff it in the front of your pants. A good appendix carry holster will retain your weapon so it doesn't blow off your babymakers.

Glocks are quite safe as long as you follow the basic safety rules of firearms handling, primarily, keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot.

Now, wombats, on the other hand...you gotta keep an eye out for them...

                              Touche.

We only get agitated and nasty when gun safety is questionable.

Are there any guns available to us that are UNsafe? Sure a Glock won't accidentally fire if left on the kitchen table, but is is there one that does? I haven't heard of one lately that fired and wasn't due to handler mistakes. Sure they say that the "gun went off by itself" but I'm sure almost 100% of the time it didn't just go off by itself and it was due to negligence
