Just picked up my Les Baer Premier II today and took it to the range.
I cleaned the gun thoroughly and man is it tough to break down...the tolerances are so tight. The gun comes with hardly any accessories..1 magazine, a dissasemble guide and some other Les Baer material.
I was pleasantly surprised how tight the gun feels in the hand. The first two magazines had two failures (not sure why??) I suspect the gun needed some additional lube..I didn't have any other failures after that.
The first Group I shot was about 2 1/2 " at 10yds and the best group was below (8rds)

When pushed back the lighting at the range was giving me a problem and I lost some of the confidence that I had...still the best group wasn't too bad for my wobbly technique..this was at 17-20 yds due to lighting..(also 8rds)

I ran about 150 rds through and was feeling pretty confortable with this gun by the end of the day. I imagine the feel will get better and better as it breaks in.
I thought the quality of the gun is nice, but not as nice as I might imagine a $1800 gun would be. The time must really go into the had fitting...I am very happy with the purchase but for an average joe like myself its prolly a bit over board...but I am crazy about 1911's
