    Glock 30s (CA Approved List)

    ALCON:

Per my local dealer the Glock 30s is not available because its not on the CA Approved list, although its not a Gen 4, can someone confirm this for me?

    Thank you,

You sure that legal to do since the frame would still be considered a G30s.

You could do the alternative. Buy a G30 frame and then a 30s slide (assuming you can find the slide and that the G30s and G30 have the same frame)

Or buy the 36 slide after which is used on the 30s.

Since it's a Glock 30 frame what would be the difference? Or it could be a Glock 29 frame. Same thing. It would be cool if GLOCK just sold the slides so people could convert their G20/30 to a Glock 30S. hmmmm..

No, I mean the actual firearm is listed as a Glock 30S. Changing the slide or caliber probably doesn't change it into another firearm in the DOJ's eyes.

It is actually the 30SF frame??

And that would be a good idea about GLOCK.

Sure like to find someone with a G36 slide to put on my G30SF frame.

Can a Glock 30s slide be purchased separately?

It would be easier to find a G36 slide which is the same.

Just a bit of history, the G30s was a configuration that was discovered on Glocktalk years ago that Glock finally adopted.
