        great job OP - look awesome especially for a beginner
        I mainly shoot .22lr, 9mm,45 acp, 357 & 38, 12G, 7.62x39, .308, .223/556, 7.62x54r, 300 win mag, 8x57

            Whats wrong with that? It's a gun, a tool. If it was some rare collectors item that you were keeping for value, that would be one thing. Do whatever makes you happy. Worst case, you blast off the coating and try again.

              Haha yeah the dragons were just not my thing.. Maybe I will buy a pair just for some photos

              Thanks brother. I will keep that in mind. Sometimes I get caught up in the aesthetics cause I want my firearms looking good and I forget that they are meant to be used as a tool lol

                Nice job, pat yourself on the back. What did you think was wrong with the finish job you did. The photos look great.
                I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

                  When you look up close there are certain areas that "ran" and a small scratch from me prematurely handling the firearm to sand down certain areas....

                                Doesn't look too bad.

                                I'd ditch the Pachmeyr grips and put a nice set of classic brown/red colored wood grips on it.

                                It'll really bring out the yellow color.
