sse if you can find a place that does it and has the barrel, or buying it used from something though ppt. I found one last week on consignment and got it without a second thought.

They are offroster so you will have to go out of state and buy it legally. Except you can't do that as a California resident.

SSE is the way to go. A dealer that SSE's CZ's or Witness' should be able to SSE this one too.

          What is SSE?

Single Shot Exemption. For more info read the sticky at the top of the handgun section.
          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The baby eagle. Witness and sp01 have the same size barrel. Cz75 have a smaller one.

Anyone who does SSE for CZ's should be able to help you, because they use the same barrel. However, why do you want one? Have you looked at the amount of slide that's left to grab? There is only about 1/2" of slide to grab in the first place because of the slide rails riding inside the frame.......but then to completely screw it up they put a safety/decocker ON the slide, taking up half of what little cocking serrations there were... POOR design for that......just get a CZ or a Witness.
