Is it worth the extra $50 for the night sights?

The night sights on my sp2022 are AWESSOME! I thought I heard someone downstairs around 1AM, pulled out my pistol, and idiot me got turned on by the brightness of the night sights that I forgot for a moment that I pulled my gun out for a reason. I still smile when I recall how bright it was in a pitch dark bedroom. And by the way, that pistol shoots really straight! You will be really happy with it.

Got one @ Turners for $300 a few years back. I guess they were the excess stock they were getting rid of. Off the bat it was stove piping with brand new ammo. This was even after cleaning it thoroughly a few times. Called Sig and told them the problem. I sent it to them and got it back in less than 2 weeks. They didn't tell me the problem but they replaced the slide and barrel. Since then I put over 500+ rounds with no problems. I guess I got a bad one? Love the gun but what sucked is paying $55 for shipping to send it back.

            I have one in.40
            Great little pistol.
I picked mine up from Palmetto State Armory in June. $349
When it was brand new, I was getting a few failures to eject and failures to feed on almost every mag.
After a box of two of ammo, it was nicely broken in and has functioned flawlessly.
Some guns just need to be broken in.
I since have about 1000 rounds through it.
500 of which are cast reloads.
Only change I made was upgrading to a stainless guide rod. I did that after it was broken in.

Great handgun. I have the .40 and have shot around 2500 rounds without a single hiccup. I did change out the polymer guide rod for a stainless as it just didn't se right to me to have a plastic guide rod. This also helped with the balance of the gun. The best part, you can turn the .40 into a .357 Sig by simply changing out the barrel and nothing else. I'm thinking of getting a 9mm for the wife soon too.

I have one in .40 and it's a great gun. 2,000+ rounds through it, and no problems. BTW, I have heard from numerous people that the .40 mad will work fine for 9mm. The downside is the .40 mag only holds 12 rounds of 9mm.

I bought one a few months ago and created a similar thread for reviews. And just like this thread, I got 100% positive reviews. The only downfall is that it comes with 1 mag and finding extras is damn near impossible. I ordered some directly from Sig and still waiting. Other than that, it's a winner if your looking for durability.

As a tip, if you have the 9mm 2022, you can use 40/357 SIG mags.

Last time I checked, you can fit 12 9mm rds in a 40/357 mag.

And yes, this is in fact legal. PC refers to the mag itself, in this case only a 10 rounder. How many rounds of the "wrong" caliber you put into a 10 rd mag is not against the law...

I've got two in 9mm so far got them for $389 with a free laser SIG sweetened the deal with... looking to pick up a .40 as soon is my 30 days is up unless i happen upon one in the marketplace sooner The first has probably 3000+ rounds down range in the 9 months i have had it, with absolutely no problems at all. It's eaten everything I've fed it without a hiccup so far.
The other has seen about 600+ flawless rounds and get's taken out when we bring new shooters or someone that doesn't have their own set of tools.
A couple weeks ago we were out shooting in AZ and my lovely boxer knocked a full can of strawberry soda right on top of it , leaving a nice sticky mess as soon as it dried in the 100 degree heat, but sure enough it went bang every time i pulled the trigger for the remaining 2 mags.
I just picked up a blackhawk serpa with paddle and am loving it so far...Can barely feel it on my hip most of the time. The only downside is i had to get rid of the handy dandy free laser Sig threw in

I wish we had a Turners near by, its about 3hr drive to the nearest one.
I tried to check on one of these at our LGS but they were closed. I'll have to try again this weekend.
