Sig SP2022

I'm wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with the SP2022. I'm most interested in reliability and durability. I'm looking into picking one up in 9mm.

I have one and I would agree that it is 100% reliable and durable. I have put a lot of rounds through it and have never had a single issue. It is a great gun to shoot for both my wife and myself, and I have pretty large hands.

If you do a quick google search you will find quite a few great reviews on them. You wont be disappointed.

I have one in 9mm as well. No complaints, works perfect every time, even when dirty with dust and sand all in it. I put a Hogue Handall grip sleeve on mine.

No 9mm, but I've got it in .40...

...and it's a great gun, especially when you consider the quality and value. I paid under $400 for mine brand-new. Of course, that was a couple of years ago.

Have a couple friends with SP2022 in 9mm, that love 'em. Just laid one away myself, for my girlfriend to shoot. My P226 & P229 in .40 are a bit unwieldy for her. I am certain I'll be happy with it.

Awesome, thanks for the replys guys. I did see some reviews from google searches, but thought it wouldnt hurt to get more first hand reviews.

I had been looking into a P226 a year or so ago but the price went up, so i started looking at the SP2022. Showed it to my wife, and she told me to go to our LGS to see if they have it for a reasonable price...
I was looking at the P226 because i have fired a friends a few times and liked the feel of it, but cant afford it.

I've carried mine now for over 7 years. Thousands of rounds and no problems. Its my EDC, since retiring from law enforcement.
