    +1 for Blade-Tech. As for the belt, if you want leather, Hank's Amish belt works great.

      I purchased 3 of these types. xd45' xd40 sc, 1911 full size. Uncle Mike's Kydex Black Paddle Holster, Springfield XD Compact, Right Hand 54271 from amazon.com $17.86.

      Used the 1911 holster in the 2-day, going to use the xd45 in a 4-day + CCW in may. Worked great for me and you will need at least a 2-mag pouch.

      Not sure that they will let you use an IWB holster, but someone on this thread said that he did. We were told by our instructor that you could not and he made a few people rent OWB holsters. I would check with them before you head up there.

        I had friends take the 4DDHG class with IWB holsters without much issue. granted, they had taken the class before, and at least one of them had DG'ed the class previously. They explained that they had CCW permits and wanted to take the class with their EDC holster. They were allowed to use the IWB holster.
