    I wonder if an unpaid ticket in a rental car in DC would affect DROS status?
    Since it's technically the rental car company that gets the ticket.

      Nope, but current legislation intends to expand on the crimes that prohibit gun ownership. In a few years, that could expand to speeding tickets. Of course, the odds of that are slim, but you get the idea.
