    HK USP differences??

So I have 2 HK usp45's. One is the desert tan the other is the two tone stainless. I swear that they are different in the feel of the grip. Does anyone know if there was ever any design changes from year to year? The tan one feels better in my hand, others have said they feel different too. I did a google search and could not find anything.

Date codes of each? They're both same size, right?

Don't think they changed the molds significantly. Maybe tan one is slightly softer plastic, or one is more worn in more?

I assume the tan one is 2004 date code and the two tone is 1998-99? I haven't notice it. They feel the same to me.

The tan one has a more squarish front strap and recessed sides where the glue on skateboard tape panels go. Maybe that's why they feel different to you.

just sell me the 2tone SS one and you won't have to worry.

but you can check the HKPro forums to find out. Could be just the texture change over the years.

Thanks for the replies. I have to get them out again and look at the contour.

Don't own any USP45 yet, but that's interesting to know.

There must be some slight differences. I have the 2 tone stainless slide model purchased back in 1999 and the newer mags don't seem to fit the same as the original mags that came with the gun.

I pulled both out and checked. I can't see any differences. It is not so important for me to pull out a caliper. In checking both pistols have recesses in the grip area. The contour looks the same too. Hmm I may go to hkpro and ask too. Ohh the date codes are tan AE (2004), two-tone KI (1998). Thanks for the replies.
