It does seem to be getting better, the WM in Eureka seems to be getting a shipment every couple of days. They mostly still sell out fairly quickly, but now it can take hours instead of minutes.

Tonight I stopped in and at first it looked pretty picked over. Then I noticed there were six 100-round value packs of WWB 45 ACP shelved among the rifle ammo. I bought three of them @ $40/box of 100, and another guy who had completely overlooked them despite five minutes of staring holes in the case grabbed the other three as soon as he figured out what had just happened.

There were a couple of boxes of Hornady .40 JHP that actually survived for 48 hours on the shelf, they were still there when I left.

The guy behind the counter told me that one warehouse serves five northern California WM stores, and that when a shipment comes in they split it equally among the stores. He confirmed that they are seeing shipments more often recently.

I actually bought 1k of bulk 9mm from turners like a week ago it was the Remington umc brand for 269 not bad nore good didnt really need it but it was there so i picked it up for my use. Not to re sell it at a higher price. the price shot up like almost 60 dollars Cause at pre panic price you were able to pick up 1k in 9mm for 200-220 depending on were you got if from. And if I do find 9mm in 50 round boxs I am not will to pay more then 15.99 more then that is crazy

BTW does anyone know if they sell ammo at any time at the 24 hour ones?

I have asked the employees before and the answer I got was NO. I work late shifts and have bought 500 rounds of 9mm ammo at 2.30am at the Roseville, ca pleasant grove store. This was back when their box limit was 5 boxes/day

It's all about luck for the most part at some walmarts. The Walmart by my house gets them very randomly. the sales person said the first ammo that goes is 223, then 9, and then 40. I've been really lucky on rare occasions but am only able to get 3 boxes.

I was at basspro shop randomly just returning something when I saw a guy walk buy with a box of Remington .22lr. So I went upstairs and there where like 20 boxes .. So I grabbed my 1 box limit and literally within 3 mins everyone in the whole store was making a dash to the ammo dept.. People who didn't even own .22 were probably running to get some

Just scored 3 100 round packs of winchester white box 9mm for $25 per box. There was 3 left at Manteca Walmart when I left. They have 3 box max.

And you didn't walk back in as a new customer to get the other 3 boxes?

just scored 3 boxes of REmington 225 value pak 22lr @$9.95 at WalMart..they still had several boxes of 223 and 38 special +p, but that stuff is too hot for my 60's Colt Police Positive Special to handle
