    9mm ammo score

Just scored 3 100 round packs of winchester white box 9mm for $25 per box. There was 3 left at Manteca Walmart when I left. They have 3 box max.

There's talk of the Wal*Marts not selling after 10pm but I'm not sure if they've implemented that rule yet...

I don't always save the world, but when I do, it's in 24 hours or less...

Pretty good! I just paid $37 for 5 boxes and drove 90 miles to pick them up. (Not that I wanted to do so, but wal mart here has nothing out in the handgun ammo at all for 2+ months) we have no other options besides one LGS and sporting good place that NEVER have 9mm. Good find!(I would have waited it out, but need it for a class)

The local WM has been getting more ammo in of late. Over the last two days I have seen 15 100 round WWB (9/.40/.45) and 3 250 round mega packs in .45 be sold to the local ammo scroungers. Yeah, I stalk it pretty much every morning when it opens.

Just got lucky, was at the right place at the right time I guess. Had 20 minutes to kill before an appointment so I figured I'd hit walmart for a few minutes to kill time. Now I can go shoot and not tap into my reserves.

                Glad to hear!

Maybe it's showing that panickers are not quite as panicked, and/or have bought their 50 rounds for their new gun and are satisfied.

As the panickers subside, the flippers/gougers will slow down too as the panic market dries up and then we'll be left with the permanently higher, (but not gougy) ammo prices!

my 24hour super walmart won't sell ammo between 10pm and 8am. tried going in a few days ago before work around 5am and was turned away. all i wanted was the lonely box of 30-06 sitting on the shelf for the last 3 months.
                  I don't own any guns...they're dangerous.

Walmart has been pretty fair about their prices through this panic... just never have any in stock

Well, I could be wrong here, so fact check away, but I was told by our store manager that wal mart has stopped purchasing ammunition since 1/1/13. Anything for sell is what is left in stock facilities around the country. You get what you get and when the have no more in the warehouse, that's it. Bummer. They do have reasonable prices. I hate seeing a box of federal I got for $14 in November now at $28....blows (and that's IF you can find it at all!)

$25 for 100 rounds?! Thats a great deal. Even pre election ammo was not that cheap. I gave up on buying ammo and I load my own for around $4/box of 50. Nothing feels more comforting then knowing I can make my own ammo any time I want. Like a pack rat I'll buy supplies when i have the money and in the closet it goes. if I need more rounds I just sit at the bench for a few hours and I can crank out a case. Y'all might want to start looking into reloading and stop depending on places like walmart to feed you ammo. For the cost of a case of ammo you can buy a basic Lee kit, dies, powder, bullets and primers for 1000 rounds. The kit pays for itself on the first case! Think about it.

I pay $21.33 for 100rds of Federal Champion at WM a couple weeks ago. I have been thinking about getting a Dillon 750XL but someone recommended a 650.
