    Black Majik, you're just a rebel. You know to tell you the truth I think I prefer satin or matte hard chrome. I don't want it shining, I prefer it due to being the best in protection.

      When I get my 1911 eventually redone, it will be with William Birdsong's "Black-T" finish:



      Lubricity and corrosion resistance are supposed to be unbeatable, and I like the look. He also does a "Green-T".

          Mine are parkerized. Though I have exotic wood grips on them that I made.
