1911 finish preference

Let me know if you prefer bling or tacticool for your 1911, I know many of you have both but you can only vote for one.

Bling includes:

-stainless
-hard chrome
-nickel
-other shiny coating

Tacticool includes:

-blue
-parkerize
-other black finishes

I do like my SS 1911, so I'll have to go with 'bling bling'.

Well, since hard chrome is under bling, I'll go with that. I think it is quite tactical however, in terms of corrosion resistance. The visibility is higher but with the matte types of finish, it's still low vis. Btw, do you like the Dune book or movie more?

It depends.

On the fullsize 1911 with full length rails I built, I went with chrome. On the compact Caspian I'm building now, I'm going with a matte black Tennifer finish.
