Ammo by UPS?

There is a free version. It will let you know an approximate time of delivery (wrong 99% of the time) but you can hold for will call on there also I believe.

IDK where you live OP but I have had numerous deliveries of ammo or other stuff and I have never had a problem with them just leaving it by the door.

My company has a firearms policy but are cool about ammo. I just let the shipping person know it's coming in.

I have not ordered ammo over the Internet before, buying locally. Local ammo has been spotty at best as everyone knows.
I am concerned about UPS just leaving my order on the sidewalk while I am not home so would rather have it sent to my office.
Office has a strict policy against firearms on company property and granted ammo is not a firearm, I feel I don't want to take a wack at the hornet's nest.

How is an ammo package labeled?
Would it be obvious to the secretary who will sign for it and anyone else who sees it sitting on my desk?

I get it delivered all the time and it gets dropped at my front door. The box is labeled "ORD-M". Some box it in a blank box but others just send it in the original box. It is also heavy as crap and attracts a lot of attention because of the weight. Whatever you do I would advise you in this climate to never, ever mix this hobby with the office.

Agreed. It's not worth losing your job over. If you sign up a their website you have the free option of picking it up at UPS instead of having it dropped off at your door. You will have to register on the UPS site and you will need to manually change it so that it's held instead of delivered.

Depending on the amount of ammo and who the sender is, there might be an additional sticker proclaiming "Heavy Package" on the box. I've recd UPS packages in the 35-50 lb range that had that on there.
