Starting to hate adding mods to my glock

Bought a glock 19 recently. Decided to do some mods to it. Ghost rocket trigger kit definitely not worth it, ended up putting the stock parts back in. Rear sights, warren tacticals, were a big hassle. Finally got them in after struggling with them for an evening with a few files and some punches.

All excited because I went down to Home Depot and bought the nut driver to install the 3/16" retaining nut for the front sight today. Got it home the walls of the nut driver are too thick to fit into the nook where the head of the retaining nut resides.

At least the extended mag release and slide stop were no hassle to install and I like em.

    Yeah I'm betting it's like $20-$30 though.

Well at least you finally took my advise and gave up looking for the extended thumb safety. I don't know what you were thinking there buddy.

Don't you know anybody who owns one of those really cool Wheeler Engineering Deluxe Gunsmithing Screwdriver Sets with the Glock front site bit?

lol still thinking of adding a grip safety and an internal lock though. I checked but I didn't see it on the wheeler list. If you have it could you give it to the mexican guy please?

just chuck a nut driver bit in your lathe and turn it down, I make tools parts all the time..............you do have a lathe right if no, just use your mill with rotary table, it will work too......

Have you tried adding any of these mods?

Try a higher quality 1/4" drive deep socket in that size.

Or, just take your nut driver over to your table grinder.

Hah, I know how frusterating Glock modding can make. I've screwed up and killed one fiber optic front sight, spend 2 hours on my hands and knees looking for the damn spring cups when installing a new trigger kit, then spent another 2 hours losing it again, and having mixed results on connectors.

Frusterating indeed, but the end result makes owning a Glock that much better.

                    4 mods to a glock

                    Range card
                    Holster
                    Ammo
                    Professional training

But seriously, most of my 8 glocks are bone stock, the only mods I do on a regular basis are:

                    Extended mag release
                    Extended slide release
3.5lb glock connector and 0.25 polish job.

I've got an easier mod for you to do.

                        1. Modify a Glock so it fits nicely in a trash can.

                        2. Replace with a Sig.

.. but I thought you were the one that was Picatinny compatible.

                              Or

                              1. Use the 300$ saved from buying a sig.

                              2. Modify the glock into a Sig Sauer eating, short barreled, full auto, ozone depleting, weasel launching weapon with infrared/ night vision capabilities and a cup holder for your beverage.
