Is a Remington XP-100 technically a handgun?

Hello DSF- I am scorching the earth searching for a factory Custom Shop REM XP-100R in .308 (rear grip). The pistol holds three in the magazine. I own one in .35REM. Thanks, DAVID

XP-100's a single shot pistol anyway, so it doesn't matter if it's not on the "Not Unsafe" handgun list.

THIS ^, and i kinda dig the single shot pistols. My buddy has a rifle version of the action in 223.
