So I bought a the 92 back in 1990-91. A friend ask me to go in halves with him on some bulk Egyptian 9mm, slightly corrosive. Anyhow, gave the gun to my Father seeing how it was in his name anyhow. Fast forward to last weekend, I'm checking the Taurus out, and the inside of the barrel seemed really pitted. Where can a fella pick up a replacement? I did a search, but nobody seems to carry much for that gun. Can a Beretta barrel be used in the Taurus? Any help is much appreciated.

Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Hindsight of course but when I shoot some corrosive ammo I use Dove dish soap and hot water for clean up, also use on my blackpowder guns.US Navy Retired, NRA Lifetime member. Member CRPA

There's a book written by Mike Venturino and the current owner of Shiloh Rifle Manufactureing on shooting/loading black powder it may be of some use. I shoot BP but one trick that Venturino has for cleaning rifle and brass of BP residue is to use Windex with ammonia d. pour one bottle of Windex in a gallon jug and add water to fill the jug and clean as usual. Brass just throw it in after you fire them.
