    .41 MAG ANYONE

Just put a used New Model Blackhawk .41 Mag in Kali consignment jail today. It's my second. I let my first one get away 35 years ago, to my bud who stills has it, and no amount of coaxing has been able to pry it back out of his hands. Anyone else got a woodie for this caliber? PAX

I have a blackhawk. 41 mag and love it!

It's a great caliber and shoots great. Ammo is a little pricey, but i don't shoot it as often.

A couple of Bisley Blackhawks, M57, M57 Mt. Gun, and a Model 357 that feels like a water pistol. Someday I'll get a Marlin lever action to go along with them.

I have a 1978 SW .41mag. Sweet gun. Better caliber than .44 mag. Flatter shooting, less recoil.

Out of curiosity, what are those things going for now-a-days?

Have a S&W Model 57 6" in .41 mag. Awsome gun, super accurate, and very comfortable to shoot. Will never sell it, one of my favorites.

Love the caliber, but hate the grip on a Blackhawk...and haven't stumbled across anything else in .41 when I've had the cash to buy! Congrats, and enjoy it!

Count me in on the 57's. I have a pre lock and a New Classic (which get an undeserved bad rap imo. Still very nice looking and shooting revolvers).

Mod 57 made in the early 80's. Model 657 3" and a Blackhawk. I shot the 57 in Metallic Silhouette. 200 meter accuracy was great.

Put Herters grips that filled in between the trigger guard and frame, wider trigger shoe (no longer available) and hammer spur. Fit much better. Mr Monkeywrench $600. The first one I traded a Rem 1100 20 ga, for it, then traded the .41 for a .270 pump, in the early '70s. PAX
