I don't believe the Pro C.O.R.E. is even being made yet.

I don't think the older Pro is being made anymore either.

I've been in the market for a Pro 9 or 40 or a Pro C.O.R.E. 9 or 40 for months and I haven't seen either anywhere nationwide.

I heard all production lines at S&W were dedicated to cranking out standard M&P 9 models once the insanity started because that was what everyone wanted.

I suspect the Pro to Pro C.O.R.E. changeover was put on the backburner since the Pro's are very low volume demand.

The pro 9mm has been in stock intermittently at kyguns over the past few weeks.

I found my dream gun! M&P 40L ordered from a shop in VA, shipped to OC Armory, and DROS started yesterday. Trijicon Dual Illuminated RMR 7MOA waiting to go on it.

I'll post up pictures when I pick it up in 9 days. Looooong wait.

On a side note, I was surprised at how gritty the trigger was when I dry-fired it. I was hoping that the Pro upgrades would have fixed it and made it closer to the Apex Duty kits that I have in my other M&Ps.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and information. I know that this thread is only a few weeks old, but I've wanted an RMR on a M&P since I bought my first one, and that fire really turned up once S&W released the CORE model.

Like I said, I'll post up pics soon and a full review to follow.

I just ordered a 40L Pro, too. Having it shipped to EBR Works for SSE. Don't think I'm going red dot, though so I'm looking forward to seeing your rig when you're done!

I think they are still making the PRO because I just bought mine off Gunbroken.com 2013 and it has the newest back strap stippling on it.

Don't bother with the SSE bs, just get a regular M&P40 ship the slide off the get milled for a RMR.(I assume that is why you want the Core)

I can't speak for ODub, but I wanted the long slide/barrel, so the regular M&P wouldn't cut it for me.
