Besides a slide swap, would a mag sled be an issue in this case for SSE. Easy enough to construct but at what cost?

DAS just handled my Wilson CQB 9mm. No problems. Not sure, however, how the barrel works on the Spec Ops. Is it identical to a regular 1911?
Oh, and I bought it through George at MI Gunslingers. He's familar and supportive of the California SSE process.

BTW...when I called Wilson they said no to shipping to CA under SSE. However, when DAS called them, they were willing. Note, however, I don't know what DAS told them. I don't think you guys are getting the point. The spec ops has nothing in common with your standard 1911 of any caliber. The frame is the double stack hi cap poly/alloy frame that Kimber used to sell and the upper won't slide onto any other frame. The barrel looks like a glock barrel and locks into the ejection port, not the lugs machined into the slide like a 1911.
I think para mags would be the best bet if factory mags can't be found.There are 3 kinds of people in this world.

This gun does not use a standard 1911 barrel and the barrel installs like a Glock. We'll be able to handle these soon. Table Rock Arms can also do it.Comment
