A Marine had to beg his wife for permission to buy a gun?

What has this world come to?

Why is it that some people find the idea of self-defense such a novel, almost laughable idea? Anyway thanks for your service-I hope you find something you like soon.

Not that you NEED it or anything, lol...

            Congrats! You'll eventually get a 45 too =)

9mm ammo hard to find right now - i manage to find some at local Big5. If you have one near you swing by and ask them what day they get their shipments in. You'll pay "retail" but hey it's something.

For bulk ammo, sign up for all the popular online sites "email me when this is in stock" feature.

Also, CG members post deals on here now and then, but you'll have to jump on them quick.

            Good luck, happy shooting!

Thanks everyone. Yeah I had to beg the wife because frankly I enjoy having sex lol. Its easier to just go along with what she wants because eventually she will break and I will not. I knew it was just a matter of time before she caved. She has a false since of security bc we live on base but finally with everything going on in the world she agreed to let me get one. I found it at Sacramento Black Rifle in Rocklin Ca they still had a decent selection. My final cost of the gun after taxes, fees, and DROS was $583. I feel that was a good price.

10 days? Assuming you are not getting a second one soon... The 30-day wait is more painful

Anyways, congrats on the purchase and thanks to you and to your wife for your service! Happy for you that you got your first, errr, you got one!

I agree, the more guns you get the worse the wait becomes. But then it's almost like being 6 again on Christmas morning....every time!!!
