How does the rubberized textured talon grip differ from the granulated in terms of effectiveness?

I've always been a fan of the granular grips so I decided to try the rubber version on my G30 because I wanted something smoother for ccw (so that it wouldn't irritate my skin). So far I'm not a fan of the rubber texture. It doesn't add a noticeable improvement for me as my hands still slip when they're sweaty. It's also thicker than the granular grip and adds more girth. I'm going to replace it with the granular grip and just sand it down so it isn't as abrasive.

I love the granulated grips a LOT. Especially since I have big hands and I have a little cutie-pie G26. I can bear-claw it like a bar of soap but fire it like a full sized Glock.

Also put it on stepdad's G23C and that is the nicest, easiest to control .49 I've ever fired between the talon grips and compensated barrel.

I used to have Talon Grips on all my Glocks until they raised their prices by 50%. . 15 bucks for a piece of sandpaper... .

I buy all my grips from Dawson Precision. 3 sets for 18 bucks (it was $15 a month ago)

Skate board shop near me always has scrap pieces that can fit skate boards that they give me when I ask. So that is what I've been doing. But that looks neat

I also like the rubberized texture. I like the sandpaper type grip as well, but it's less comfortable if you carry IWB and it might contact your skin, and it sticks to clothing more. I think the rubber is a little nicer on your hands and still offers an exceptional grip.

Here's my Beretta Nano, at top, w/ the rubber talon grips on:
