Well I got this Taurus 709 Slim for my birthday and I just got a chance to get out to the range today.
I have been reading others; on different forums, reviews on this and my gun was pretty much the same.
Shooting low. I had taken the little tool the Taurus gives you to adjust the sights but I couldn't get it in the screw and I didn't take any other tools with me to the range. So I had to do it the old fashion was, hold it high. I will make sure I have more tools with me on my next trip.
I really liked the single action trigger. This is also one of the things that drew me to this gun; as most guns in this size are double action only. I had read that there was a long reset on this gun but I don't think so and it resets very quickly. The SA trigger pull is crisp and break very nicely.
I had no malfunctions in the 50 rounds that I put through it and was very surprised with how easy it is to handle.
This one will be getting more range time and will be high on the carry list.
