There are 6 days left, chances are someone will outbid you.

If only. People have tried that --DOJ says no. Must be the manufacturer who pays the fee to keep it on the roster.

I agree with the others who say, tell the seller the situation now. Likely he'll retract your bid; and all will be OK. If you let the auction close; and are high bidder, that's when GB will black ball you.

          iB, Ronin2,

I'm NOT trying to get out of my obligation. I'd really like to have the gun, but
in my excitement of actually seeing one available, I messed up. I already
admitted that. If the gun goes back on roster, I'll leave it as is and hope
that I win the auction. Colt has to pay the roster fee, that's all.

          To the rest that replied,

Thank you for your advice. Sent two messages to seller already, but have yet
to see response. Gun is awesome, so hope I can get it. Been waiting for one to
show up. NIB Colt .45 ACP O1980XSE is what I'd like to have, for those curious.
I know I could lose it anyway by revealing what it is, but that's the risk I'll have
to take. Current bid is $1083.
