My vote is for Cerakote.If you're in SoCal , check with Dave's Metal Works in Covina,626-859-0299. Great gunsmith and a good guy to do business with.

what are the technical differences between the two - numbers, data sheets, tests, etc? if not, it seems like people are happy with both so it'd be hard to say, maybe it comes down to what colors are available.

Do you guys recommend this with parkerized guns? Is it just the extra step of removing the park finish?
