I'm talking about the barrels with an unknown heritage, usually with slots miiled in them. I've used Bar-Sto, Storm Lake, another couple of name brands, and they all worked well. Just be sure the guy at the table can really tell you where the barrel came from. The .40 S&W is a pretty high pressure round, and I sure don't want a defective barrel. The few Glock KB's I know of have all been in .40, firing slightly out of battery. That's why I suggested changing the recoil spring. I also know that changing to another brand of striker might also increase the chance of firing out of battery, or doubling - both are pretty exciting.

Most of the people on xdtalk.com, of which I'm a member, say they like it because it does have the feel of a 1911, along with the grip safety. Those same people say the Glock doesn't feel comfortable to them.
