I picked one up around 6-8 months ago, I love this gun. I put a Ghost trigger connector, steel recoil guide rod, and extended controls on it. Also, 25 cent trigger job. Shoots awesome, and really nice size.Comment

Nice shooting with it. I've had mine since ~Oct and really like it.
I did get the pinky bite with the stock 10 round magazines for the G30. I adjusted my reload technique to the "high-society pinky out drinking a cup of tea" look
Do you have a part number for the night sights? My stock plastic ones are turning to mush from doing 1 handed malfunction clearing

Thanks, as I said above, I'm a much better shot with the wheel-guns. I'm sure the triggers and longer sight radius is a big part of that though. It is a nice shooting gun. I expected a lot more "snap" to it. Really surprised at how docile the recoil is.Nice shooting with it. I've had mine since ~Oct and really like it.

I didn't notice the bite until I got in the car, so I don't know if I did it while reloading or while shooting. I'll be more conscious of that next time to the range. It didn't cross my mind that it might have been during reloads.
I have the package for the sights at home. I'll try to remember to get the PN for you after work. Check this thread tonight. My personal blog: The Damn True ExperimentComment

I have two bone-deep scars on the pad of my trigger finger. As a result, all guns with trigger safeties like the Glock or XD irritate the scars and cause a bit of pain in my finger when shooting more than a handfull of rounds. To help mitigate the discomfort I rolled a bit of 320g around a pencil and used it to contour the trigger safety a bit closer to the contour of the trigger itself and rounded the edges of the blade a bit as well. Shot 100rds yesterday at lunch at a local indoor range and it helped quite a bit.
Results of yesterdays lunch break below....still pretty sloppy.
Started with 40rds 7yds at a moderate pace concentrating on follow-through on the the trigger and consciously resetting before the next squeeze "exhale-squeeze-and-squeeze-and-squeeze-and-inhale-exhale--squeeze-and-squeeze-and-squeeze-and-inhale"

Put up a fresh target and slid it out to 15yds again focusing on the above trigger discipline but at a slower pace. Again, 40rds "exhale-squeeze-two-three-four-squeeze-two-three-four-squeeze-two-three-four-inhale-exhale-etc"

Last target, 20rds at 4yds. Starting with the weapon held at navel height and using the shots of the guy in the next lane as a "start signal" quickly brought the weapon up and fired two rounds as quickly as I could while still getting a reasonably firm sight picture. Pace was akin to saying "squeeze-squeeze".
