    Minty fresh G-30sf

With it I bought meprolight night sights as well...

    Yeah....my hands are small....

It freaked me out a bit to not strip, clean, lube/oil the thing before firing it for the first time, but the LGS owner said that the OE Glock grease is in there and designed for shipping and initial break in and to just run it....okaaaay.

Sloppy shooting but wtf...first time shooting a new gun so I guess it's acceptable.

    1st 10rd mag 7m slow fire

After four more mags at the same distance

15m at a brisk, though hardly rapid-fire pace

Same as above, just wanted to see the effect of a different background for the sights

And 7m firing as rapidly as I could (while ensuring a sight picture between shots) the pace was about like saying and-1-and-2-and-3-and-4 firing on the numbers.

I'll wait until I get those magazine sleeves before I use the G-21 mags again...ouch

That's good shooting for such a little guy with a small sight picture. I'm very interested in one of the baby Glocks to add to my Glock family haha I keep thinking 26/27 but I'm a .45 type of guy. Maybe a 29 to go with my 20. Or just all of them!! Do you have any of the other sub-compact Glocks?

Thanks. I'm a lot more accurate with my revolvers.

Nope. This is my first Glock, and the only one that fits my itty-bitty hands...in fact, it's the first semi-auto handgun that I've purchased.

I don't love the trigger...5lb pull is substantial + the trigger safety bar irritates a couple of very deep scars on my trigger finger.

Yeah coming from 1911's, the Glock trigger has a dirty feel to them. I could only imagine coming from a strictly revolver background. I have a 17 that has a Glockworx trigger and had them set it up as short and crisp as possible and it's awesome. But that being said, I've actually grown to like the stock Glock trigger. Soon I'll experiment with one just polishing stuff up and dropping in factory 3.5 connector and see how that is vs a drop in trigger kit.

          Welcome to the Glock family!

Jealous. I really want to try one of these. Looking to add a Glock .45. Just debating between the 30 or the 21 (SF or not)

I couldnt help but laugh at the small hands comment haha. I held a glock 30sf. I have huge hands and it was the only glock compact that felt so good to hold. big congrats on your purchase brother. I went with a RIA Tactical Compact in 45acp instead of the glock 30sf. The RIA was just butter in my hand so I picked that instead. Happy for you and your new gun brother. I enjoyed the pics, ty for sharing with us

My 30SF bites my pinky also .

                      Yeah?

I actually didn't notice it until I got in the car after my range time. I assumed it was because I was shooting some G-21 mags in addition to the G-30 mags that came with the gun. There is a gap between the mag and grip frame when using the G-21 mag and assumed the blood blister was from getting pinched in that gap.

Does your bite happen with the OE mags or are you using G-21's as well?

I'm going to try some magazine sleeves on the G-21 mags to see if that fixes it as well. I have them on order by my wait time expired and I couldn't wait to go shooting.

It's just with the 30. That little lip on the 10 round 30 mags pinches my pinky between the frame. Sanded it down a little and it fixed it.

Interesting. Can you post a pic of the area that you "adjusted" so I can compare it to mine?

Also check out the pierce +0 grip extenders. I hear they also get rid of the pinching.

Oh....btw, anyone else with the G-30 or G30sf...experienced any failures to return to battery? I shot 125-150 rounds the first time out the other day and it happened 2-3 times.

Not particularly worried about it unless it's still happening after 500 rounds but I've never seen that in a "service" type pistol.
