Did you use the three dots package or the strip and large dot package? I also have a P225, but I'm not sure which set to purchase.

Keep in mind that the BRIGHT glow stays visible a lot less time than the overall glow. I can easily see the long term glow for many hours... through the night easily (generally 9:30ishpm to 5:30isham) Having your eyes acclimated to the dark makes a difference too.

At any rate, let me know what you think!!

sorry for the delay in posting my update. I actually left it under the lamp for about 30 minutes. The glow os a LOT brighter if it is exposed to the light source directly ie, barrel down & sights directly facing the light source vs. just laying the pistol flat down.

You are right about the "afterglow" for lack of a better term. It's faint but you can see it.

Overall, for what it is & what it is not, it is what it is. Would I buy it again? Sure, for my lower end guns that come with poor sights, they will do double duty.

Heya guys.... I had a customer send me these photos from his Glock and thought i'd share.

Just wanted to put them up to show the brightness and to show what the non-dot set can look like.

            Have fun!

yep. Inova XO is as bright as a TLR1 weaponlight, but only costs $38 at Target..and lasts longer.

Since the OPs dad has a 92fs (no rails or front dovetails), a hand held light, or a universally mounted light would be best.

The nitesiter's $10 thing sounds cool, but not practical for HD..unless you don't mind giving them a flashlight charge before bed EVERY NIGHT. If you do that, then you have a huge advantage in the nightsighters.

ME? I'll take a weaponlight or hand held flashlight over night sights (tritium) any day (or any night!). I have a fiber front sight and with the weapon light on in my dark hallway, the sight glows covering my need for an illuminated sight picture as a bonus.

I ordered some dot and bar nitesighters for my Sig P6. How hard should they be to put on? Can't wait till they get here.

                    Anyone use this product yet?

Sounds EXACTLY what I been looking for.

My gun has black sights, and I don't feel like painting or gun smithing. Slapping on some stickers sounds fine for the range.

Edit: Some of the reviews here are promising. I'll probably have to modify the product a little to fix my gun, but sounds better than painting.

I've ordered them and received them after 5 days. I basically installed it right away on my 2 guns. Dave you should have made it 9 dots instead of 8. Anyway, i loved it! few minute charge on my TLR-1 or just a simple night lamp would give them a very sufficient light. For $10bucks this is really great and dont forget when you order this nitesites THIS IS JUST AN ALTERNATIVE! Dave is doing his best for all his customers, if you think you have the money to spend it to a high expensive nitesites (like nike says) JUST DO IT! otherwise keep the negative info to yourselves and instead of YAPPING, contribute something to the society.

As of June 2012, customer service is non-existent. Called 2x, and emailed a month ago. No reply.

I have nitesiters on both my USP and my M&P .45. My roommate has truglo sights on his M&P .45. After a side by side, we both agreed I got the better deal. 14 bucks to set up two guns compared to the $100 or so he paid for one? I definitely came out on top. A two second exposure to an LED flashlight to both weapons revealed a MUCH brighter glow with my nitesiters and a relatively equal glow approximately six hours later. I'm happy with my nitesiters purchase. Besides, if I use a light with my weapons, my ability to see the "glow" is eradicated anyway.
