Love my Crossbreed, comfortable and works really well. They also have a two week trial period.

I bought a Crossbreed Supertuck for my 9mm. I loved it. I then added an HK45c to my carry weapons. I decided to try Whitehat. I realized how much I like the durability and construction of Crossbreed more and bought another CB (horse hide for both).

I use a mink oil to help with the initial stiffness.

Good idea on the oil; my wife has mentioned that I'm creaking more than normal.

I checked out the seconds site and the have lots of holsters for my Beretta's. .

LOL....once I used the oil. The creaking went away.

When I first bought my crossbreed I just put a little bit of mink oil on the outside of the leather to help soften it just a bit. Wiped off all the excess away and it didn't creak for a long time. Just recently started creaking again, but I just throw some baby powder in a couple areas and its good to go.

My good friend bought an Old Faithful, he likes it so-so. I noticed his hardware comes loose quite often. He also doesn't ever carry with a belt, and I'm always like WTF?!

CoastRyder, yes the crossbreed has exposed hardware. I personally have never noticed it or felt it one bit. Its very flush with the leather. I can't recall if the Old Faithful stuff sits as flush, but yeah I personally never notice the crossbreed hardware touching me and I never carry with a shirt between me and the holster. Not sure if you wear underwear or not (haha) but the majority of the hardware should be in that vicinity versus above your waist.

              check out https://www.harwellholsters.com/

I have my IWB from them after considering Whitehat & Crossbreed. Went with Harwell, the wait times scared me. Harwell took 5 business days for my holster to arrive in my postbox. From payment sent to arrival to my mailbox, 5 days.. in December!

Super comfortable.. but its my 1st IWB so cant compare it to any others IWB holsters.
