22lr conversion kit for Glock 22

I am thinking about getting a 22lr conversion kit for a Glock 22. If anyone has one that works good, or one that I should avoid, share your thoughts with us. Please give some advice on what to buy.

Advantage Arms makes great .22LR slide conversions for glocks and the last round hold open is awesome. Be sure to buy a gen3 or gen4 depending on your model. Some kits are harder to get than others and they have been back ordered for ever. They seem to be ammo specific and tend to like Remington Gold which function flawlessly. I have read Federal Bulk works by slightly lubing the cases with oil. I've found Federal will have FTE @ 1-2 out of 10 with out lubing. Having FTF and FTE is an excellent way to train for clearing malfunction. All of the new mags have the updated feed lips. I have also found doing a feed ramp polish helps with cycling.

Advantage Arms' kit works very well for me. Avoid any Ciener kit that you might find as many don't work well and he doesn't believe in customer service.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

        Thank you both

Thank you both for the advice. I went on a search through the internet after I read your posts, and almost everything I read about the Advantage Arms kit is positive. Only a couple of people wrote that the kit seemed to do poorly after about a year or so. We will see.

I will take your advice and avoid the other company entirely. Advantage Arms or bust.

            Please let us know

I already ordered an Advantage Arms kit, but still would like to know how yours works. Please let us know when you get a chance to shoot it.

I got one, barely use it, super accurate and it works great: I'm thinking of selling for $375 with two extra mags...

I got the Advantage Arms LE 17-22 kit also. It works great for me, sure its cheaper to shoot than .40
If you can get one I say get it.
