    Definitely a P226. I would assume DAK trigger system.

      It's a 226R DAK. Someone replaced the sights.

      U= 226 with German made frame.

        I would find out if it is a DAK before you buy it. I would never buy a DAK or DAO pistol. I might buy a single action model though.

        If you want to go to the range and shoot tight groups, it may be harder to be as accurate with a DAK model due to the extra effort and length of pull.

        I am not sure if it can be converted to DA/SA.

          Its a DAK because of the bobbed hammer. The DAO hammer is identical looking to the DA/SA hammer.

          Only DAK models have the bobbed hammer.

            Assuming that you are shooting from a two handed hold, it shouldn't make much difference.

            When I have a client who can't seem to not jerk the trigger when shooting SA, I just have them shoot every shot in DA. It usually tightens up their grouping too...at least inside 50 yards
