I have had zero problems with mine. Just used it to qualify for my CCW. I added the big dot sights, galloway SS guide rod and recoil spring. The mag safety fell out (thats my story and I'm sticking to it) but it's going back in, CCW suggest to keep safetys in tact.

I think the LC9 is a good gun. Mine was perfectly reliable except that my preferred grip had me interfering with the slide stop. Went to a G26. I miss the thin profile for concealment, but I suck it up for the extra capacity and control. I don't really dig having a thumb safety either.

LC9 is awesome 9mm ccw gun, but not the greatest gun. OF all my handguns, it has the worse trigger. But it goes bang every time you pull the trigger. The more I learn about handguns, the more I like my glocks.

I have about 100 rds through mine and no problems. It has a long trigger pull but it is smooth. I am very happy with the gun.

I really like mine, if you shoot double action revolvers then the trigger isn't that big of a deal.. One thing I didn't like is that it was a bit thin, I fixed that with a pachmayr wrap around grip.

Also I actually like some of the safety features, the loaded chamber indicator makes it easy to remember/ verify that it is ready and the safety is still to put on and easy to take off so use it if you want or leave it off. I personally leave it on till holstered then take it off, I could probably do without the mag disconnect but its not a big deal

1000+ rounds in the last year

without a prob...nothings come loose, no failures.

Once you learn the trigger, which is long like a DA revolver, it's a smooth and reliabily consistent shooter. For the price, I love this gun.

Ruger made the LC9 safe as fug, and other than bypassing the mag-disconnect safety, I'm rolling stock.
