M&P Shield range rental

I'm looking for a range that has for rent one or both of the current S&W M&P Shields-9mm and 40cal. I live about half way between Fresno and Bakersfield but willing to day trip further in each direction. Thanks.

Good luck with that. Most places don't have one to sell never the less rent.

A few have. I think I've seen 4 or 5 people post that they have one.

I'm pretty sure at least one said that they got a free state model from a dealer that wrote it up as a CA model.

If your taking a trip out of state anytime soon you could always call then pop down to the closet range. I shot in while in WA, it was nice but I like the PPS better.

Ive always been a big fan of testing before buying. If you've called around to all the gun ranges and cant find a place with one then, you gotta decide if the risk of buying and not liking then selling it is worth it but if you love it then..........worst case Im sure someone on here would be interested in it. You'd just be out some depreciation value + DROS and it would have been like you rented it.

Uh, hate to say it...but if he were to find a Shield, buy it and not like it, he would NOT lose any depreciation value! I've seen 3 used Shields sold here and none for less than $700 + fees.

I bought mine without ever shooting one, let alone any M&P pistol! Do I like it, hay'll yes.

One was listed here in WTS for $1000 a few days ago.
