Another help me decide what to buy thread

So my 3 year old just kicked me out of bed and I can sleep so I decided to go through the ads and see if there is anything I want. I recently got the 1911 bug and bought a mil spec and then a TRP.

I'm thinking another 1911 and I have a budget of 2-2200, but might be able to scrap a few hundred to get to 2500 but that's it. I'm really interested in getting a SA Pro, but don't know if I will be able to fun one at that price point.

If I go another route I'm looking at a DE or a 9mm AR pistol.

Let me know your thoughts and in the end I know it's my money and I need to decide on my own, but I'm bored, so humor me.

I have a 44 desert eagle in polished chrome. It's awesome. Serious firepower and turns heads. Good buy.

That's a hard choice, all are good choices. My vote would be for the Pro if I was spending that amount of cash. That is one of my dream 1911s and I'm a fan of Springfield. My second choice would be the 9mm AR pistol because it would be the first to be banned out of those choices. I like Desert Eagles too but hey are expensive to feed and I wouldn't use it nearly as much as the other two.

Well my vote, since you already have to 1911's would be a good smith and wesson revolver like a 686 if you want 357 or a 625 in 45 acp.

I think ar pistols are just a novelty. I have the lower for one and i need to build it.
            Browning Buckmark, Beretta M9, XD 45, Ruger 10/22, M1 Carbine, AR 15, 1100, Benelli M2....

Also something I'm considering is a railed trp but for the price the trps are going for I could spend a little more for the pro. Also wouldn't mind a Long beach operator.

That kid's gointa want a bike too, and a razor, and shoes w/ wheels in'em, and an X-box 360...

Better off gettin' a Glock instead.

And that kid'll probably want a brother or sister too...

So maybe in 9 mm Euro.

                  Ain't bein' a daddy fun...?

Lol, yeah it's great, got the brother and sister covered with a 5 year old brother and 1 year old sister.

5 year old is already telling me he wants a PS3, but he loves daddies guns so I bought him a daisy BB gun, figure next year he can start shooting my 10/22

Within your budget you can go with Les Baer, or save up more & get the one that you are interested, the SA Pro.

I have a Yhm 5.56 16" ar and a spikes 5.56 7.5" ar pistol already. The yhm has q.d.s. back up sights and they both have cheap bushnell red dots. Will look into better optic later, Also have a .308 Howa with a Nikon monarch.

Right now I'm looking to increase my handgun collection, but I do have an eye on the cannon safe they sell at Costco, so many choices, so few resources!

I love but hate decisions like the. LOL in my shoes, the funds for a nice 1911 don't come around often. So I would look for the dream pistol. I really kick myself for selling that series l kimber gold match I once had. ARG!

The AR pistol really doesn't tempt me, but I do have an eye on a JR carbine. It's kinda nice to be able to use my G19 mags.

The 686 reference is a great one, love mine!
