Gun lock question

This is quite interesting.

A guy I know bought one without a lock. No receipt for anything needed. Walked out with the pistol in the unlocked case and put it in the trunk.

They never make you put the lock on the gun when you buy it they just make sure have one that was purchased in the last 30 days. Just more feel good California BS gun laws that do absolutely nothing. I would get ready for more of the same over the next year.

Had a PPT at Turners, Norwalk, they added a charge of a lock on my bill and never gave me the lock. It was too far to drive back to get my $5 back.
