Not sure how that works as the CT version comes with a threaded barrel so unless their giving you the threaded barrel(with threads ground down) your just paying extra for a standard 45c.

by SSE. they have to ship it to a middle man, and get it prepped for CA legality. Then SSE, then i use a non-threaded barrel i purchased through HKParts. it should come with 10 rnd mags, and tall night sites. trigger suppose to be smoothed out too.

Should rephrase that. What I ment is are they giving you an actual extended barrel(minus the threads) with all the other CT goodies(V3) or is it just a 45c with a 10 round mag?

I have the 45 and 45c. Love them. Great guns. 45 is lem and the c is standard.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Buying the CT, is just my preference. I've already prepaid for it, so canceling the order may end paying a partial fee. I ordered the V1... LGS, said they couldn't get the V3 (decocker only... I think).

As For the threaded barrel, it'll be replaced with with the LGS extended compliant barrel. I get all the goodies. I purchased a non- threaded barrel, and will use that in CA. The middle man just makes it CA compliant for shipping (disassemble the slide from frame? Not sure how this will work). Already got the thread protector for the threaded barrel, leave in storage, until I get a chance to try it out of state.

Where did you get your CT? I've been looking for one with a V3 decocker.

It was special ordered...I think. At Valkyrie Arms, now located in Santa Clara. I tried getting the V3 (de-cocker only). But they said they could only get the V1 ( Safety/de-cocker). I've been waiting For 8 months.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I'm definitely looking for a V3 as well but I guess I could get a V1 and change it to V3.

Maybe I'll look for one out of state. I was planning on doing SSE at VA as well if I did find a V3 HK45CT.

Np. Although, not sure if V1 can turn to V3. I think V3 to V1 is OK. But I'm not totally sure. U can check on HKPRO

Wierd but no one I spoke with could get the HK45/45c in anything but v1. I had to go straight through HK to get my LEM HK45.

Yea, so I ordered the V1. I'm guessing all the V3 are being sent to devgru/socom? I wonder if its the MK24 MOD0. I thought that designation was the P226.
