    Star model b?

Anyone own one? Know of a good place to pick one up?

I like the idea of a 1911 style 9mm that doesn't break the bank haha. I've always been keen on surplus guns as well, thought this would be good to add to the collection. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I own one and they were pretty decent for their day especially for a Spanish pistol. Star has been out of business for 15-20 years or so but you still see them used and although I've never broken a Star there were still some parts sources the last time I looked which was about 10 years ago. They aren't really a 1911 though. They look similar but for the most part parts do not interchange. The Model B and Firestars were pretty solid and the PD was a bit more delicate due to the lightweight frame.

Sarco has some but they won't ship to California. Need a middle man ffl.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

How would one go about arranging a middleman FFL?

Talk to Ryan @ Table Rock Arms in Medford OR.

Sarco has both C&R and non-C&R version of the model B in stock. If you order a C&R version all Ryan will need to do is ship it to your favorite LGS as all C&R's are roster exempt. If you order a non-C&R Ryan should be able to do the SSE on this as well.
