I am in the process of buying a Pair each from Tripp, Chip Mc, Wilson, KimPro.

I want to see how they run in my Kimber TLE. I recently ordered a Pair of Tripp Cobra 8rd. My ChipMC Power 8rd and Wilson 47d are acting sketchy at the moment. Gave them a quick cleaning, hopefully they run well next range Day. KimPro Tac 8rd are on my list to buy just because. I rarely use my stock 7rd Mag..

My custom ll has been great, only problem was an out of spec slide stop, they sent me a new one promptly. 700rds and no failures aside form the slide prematurely locking back( this was within the first couple hundred rds)
My only complaint is the bare steel barrel that can easily rust.

Must be a case of maladjusted extractor, a malady quite common in 1911s. On my previous 8 1911s before I made the trip down Kimber lane, one of the things that was common on those were the problem of FTF/FTE though they were bought brand new.

I learned to tune 1911s because of those guns. It was only the Kimbers that allowed me to shoot without any tuning or trouble shooting nor the necessity of changing factory parts to make them to my liking.

That is why I sing Kimber's praises without reservation.

Zero issues with my Kimber as well. Works perfect since day 1.

Time to save up for a Desert Warrior. My dream gun, for now.

Bottom line is that people are always gonna hate. My Custom II was a good shooter.

Really enjoying my DW. Here is the pile of 1911 mags I broke it in with. At about round 30 had a FTF with the stock Kimber mag and at about round 60 another FTF with a Wilson mag, have not had another in over 800 rounds fired. The FTF were my reloads and feed after a mag slap.

I own two kimbers and Love them. Zero problems. My classic stainless's barrel stained alittle but how cares. Its a working gun. I would bet my life on kimber everytime i carry. They are as realible as a S&W revolver.

Own a Custom II. Two years old. Absoloutely no malfunctions. About a hundred rounds through it. Primary home defense firearm. I would buy a Kimber again.
