Well, the "to shoot or collect" question got answered today

sighted in at 50yds for silhouette matches

Final adjustments put 6 rounds in the 11 o'clock position after shooting low right.

Other than factory test shots, I think so.

It was as close to "NIB" as any 40 year old gun I've ever bought.

I think with a gun that nice looking, you have to shoot it.
To me it just says, take a shot.
It's been 40 years. I don't think you need to wait another 40 years. Maybe shoot it every 5 years, or so.
