glock 21?

i am going to be buying a new handgun soon. i was thinking a glock 21 or a s&w .45---i want a .45-
-the full size one-

i wont be carrying it. which is more reliable? if properly maintained?

Suggest you go to a rentin' Range.

Once you get away from a single-stack like the 1911's or even the G36, they can get a little chunky for < large hands.

Glock/M&P/HK/et. al. should all serve you well.

I had the same question a few months back. The G21 was just too thick for me. I grabbed a M&P45 and could not be happier. The ergo's are very nice and the muzzle rise is very minimal thanks to the low bore.

I will only say it once...Glock 21 is an OUTSTANDING handgun. It will shoot anything and do it smiling. Accuracy is excellent. Shooting results attached for review.

You might want to try the G21SF in addition to the "standard" G21 and the S&W. I have average sized hands and the larger G21 didn't suit me too well; the G21SF, however, fits just fine. Either the Glock or the S&W will be a reliable firearm and accurate enough to do whatever job needs a .45 to do.

thanks guys. i'm going to try to find a glock & a m&p and see which one feels better. ill let whichever one feels better make up my mind. just wanted to make sure their were no problems with either.

No. Even a 3K 1911 will not out shoot a Glock. Get a 1911 to look at and show your friends. Get a Glock to get the job done.
