    TRP Operator full rail

Discount gun mart has one in stock. They are asking $1899, seems a bit steep. Beautiful gun though!

Depends. That's for a brand new one. Add tax & DROS and it'll be close to $2100 OTD.

I'm currently seeing TRP full rail Operators go for around $2000 in the classifieds right now, and those are all used in one way or another.

There's always a demand for them, and they're not going to get any cheaper.

My gunsmith just got one for a customer for $1600......of course he had to place the order and wait 6 months but if you don't have the patience then you would consider $1899 a deal I guess.

Purchased one on CG 60 days ago for the bargain price of $1,700.00
The same post day, another was listed a $1,850.00 and got snatched up.
I don't see them on the SA website anymore and they're off-roster anyway (I think).

It's a new one. It's hard to justify that kind of money when an Ed Brown is sitting in the same case for a grand more!

It's like my baby, sometimes I just sit in the garage and open the safe just to look at her!

It was hard to put down, that's for sure. I have a SIG 1911 that needs a friend!

I don't think the gun is worth more than $1600. You might want it badly enough to pay more than that, but I think TRPs are worth the $1300.00-$1600.00 range. And even in that price range, I would consider Colt XSE/Rail gun and Dan Wesson before I spent the money. When you get to and above $2000.00, I think there's a lot better choices out there.

I'm always surprised when anyone even has them in stock. I purchased one from another calgunner this year but sold it soon after. It's a sweet shooter but not worth that price IMHO. I preferred my MC Operator.

Yeah that is my thought as well. I really like Colt's but for $1899 I would either spend a few bucks more and get a Bear or Dan Wesson........or buy a new Colt and spend the $900 to have them fully customize it with their tactical package.

Full rail is ON roster. The only one that off is half rail.

Colt Rail Gun? Really!!! I guess you haven't held or shot a TRP?

Light years ahead of the colt. This is coming from someone who wants a rail gun.

The Colt Rail gun isn't in the same price range so I wouldn't expect the same thing. The Rail gun is $1087-1188 depending if it's stainless or the model with cerakote whereas the full rail is $1600. Yes these aren't CA prices but it is the MSRP which gives you an idea at the price difference. The Rail gun comes with a match barrel but you can see where that extra $400-500 went when you look at the two guns.
