    Intrafamilial IS exempt from the Roster, even interstate running through a dealer, as Federal law requires.

    It is NOT exempt from 1 in 30.

      Too confusin of a law lol. I spoke with one ffl dealer he told me I am ok to drive it back from AZ, as long as I take the magazines apart.

              Yeah the hardest part is finding an ffl that will do it and understand how to do it.

                Another option is you dad brings the gun and meets you at a ca ffl that will accept it from him, a lot won't because they want it sent from another ffl

                  I've been led to understand that some CA FFLs will not transfer if the hardware arrives without a CA compliant mag. I think the best way to deal with this is to have EBR send one of their 10 round XDM conversion kits to your father so he can ship the XDM to a CA FFL with a CA compliant mag.
