    Dan Wesson 15-2 .357

I found this Dan Wesson 357 model 15-2 this week and had to take it home.
I had one back in the 70's and sold it when I moved from Neb to Cal.

regretted doing that ever since. This one is 76/77 vintage and has a real low round count. They shoot so nice.

Damn good looking. The more I see DW revolvers the more I want one.

Wish I still had my 744HV.

These are great guns. I'm sure you'll have fun with her.
          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

No extra barrels, would like to have some.

The pistol packs are out of my budget right now, maybe for my birthday

Niiiiiice! DW are getting to be a not very well kept secret.

I have a '70s vintage 4". The thing is astounding for what I paid for it. The trigger is easily the equal of any of my S&W.

Mine has some finish issues but there are areas that are still pretty stunning. These were some drop dead pretty guns.

Now you have to get the barrel exchange kits. Nice to have a snub, or a 10" setup as well.

                      Beautiful.

                      Agreed on the barrels.

I know most of the members here are in CA. and I don't mean this as a hit against CA. but the best part of the purchase was just meeting in a parking lot and making the purchase.

No paper work, just checked my OR. DL. I actually was looking around over my shoulder waiting for the other shoe to drop, it was a strange experience.

I'm trying not to get used to it because as soon as this job I'm on is done I'll be coming back and have the 10 day wait again.

But that won't be until a year from now, by that time the for all the law changes will be over!

If anyone's interested, Imbert & Smithers in San Carlos has a very nice 8" Monson made Dan Wesson for only $325.00. Grips are in lousy shape and it needs a cleaning but is otherwise in very good shape.
