Check the bottom corner of the extractor for breakage.

Finally I came to the conclusion that because it seems to be a feeding issue that it might be related to the magazines. So I tried my g23 mags in my g27 and BAMM, problem feeding!

Is there anything I can do to help my mags feed? Or has anyone els had this problem and how did you fix it?
New mags old mags? First time using these mags? All the mags, just one mag?

Regardless I guess, clean it try it. Change the follower try it. Change the spring try it. Ditch it.

You never had the issue before? and then all the mags went bad at once? Are these 10 rounds, or 15 rounds? 1st round, last round? all rounds? something else is going on here. I have only changed magazine springs in my competition guns one time in the last 5 years, and thats running 15,000-20,000 rounds a year.

          Yup, buy new ones.

Magazines are wear items, just like tires and shoes. How long the mags will reliably work is a toss up. Some people run thousands of rounds and never have a problem. Others run 500 rounds through it and have issues.Either way, if issues arise change your mags and keep on truckin'.

Slightly OT, but the prime reason the 1911 has the reputation it does is because owners use substandard magazines. A $10 mag in a $1500 gun = reliability of a $10 gun.

The more subsidies you have, the less self reliant people will be.

The 1911 may have been in wars for 100 years, but Masetro Bartolomeo Beretta was arming the world 400 years before John Browning was ever a wet dream.

What I was also reading is that it might be the mag follower. Located in downtown riverside if your interested

              Happened to my 26.

Get some new springs. Also, with the TLR3 you want stronger springs because the weight of the light can induce a malfunction. Glock has new springs, but the Wolf's will work too.

All else fails, take it to the gunsmith. Don't forget to take the mags along too. It's well worth the money.

Aside from mag springs, recoil springs should be changed periodically as well. Be sure to inspect the extractor too for any sign of chipping.
