    Glock problem......need help

So I went to the range today and my glock 23 is having problems feeding the next round after firing. I've never had this problem before. I always clean my guns after I shoot them and they are always kept clean.

I thought that it may have been the ammo I was shooting but I shot the same fiocchi ammo in my glock 27 with no issues at all. Then I thought it may somehow be related to the tlr3 I have mounted on it, so I removed it and still had the problem.

Finally I came to the conclusion that because it seems to be a feeding issue that it might be related to the magazines. So I tried my g23 mags in my g27 and BAMM, problem feeding!

Is there anything I can do to help my mags feed? Or has anyone els had this problem and how did you fix it?

    Are you limp-wristing it?

      user error. Glocks are perfect.

Part of the gun are the mags as well. Keep them clean too.

Definetly not limp wristing it! I've never had this problem before, and I don't have the problem in my g27

Get some new mag springs, Wolff XP springs might be a good idea.

                disassemble and clean the mags

depending on age/use they could be ready for a rebuild if the cleaning doesn't help

Do use a caliper to measure after you stretch them?
JK..better(safer) to buy new springs than to make them worse. If the springs are the problem.

yeah, stretching could get you through an emergency maybe, but the problem will return shortly.

If the springs are at the point where you need to stretch them to make them work, it's time to replace them.

How old is the gun how many rounds are through it? When you say never before that means this is not a new gun just a new problem.

I bought the gun brand new in late 2008 and I have about 1000-1200 rounds through it and have never experienced this problem

So you narrowed it down to a bad mag. Throw it in the trash and buy new one, problem solved. Or, rebuild it with a new follower and spring if you dont thing the problem is th emag lips are damaged.

Well certainly worth cleaning them first. I cause that once after 1000 rnds of cheap dirty ammo. Cleaned them, stayed away for the really cheap stuff and have never had another problem. Probably have 2-3000 rnds through each mag since them.
