    KRISS Bug!!!

I got hit by a KRISS bug lately... And even though I just bought a carbine version, I still want a pistol version. Now I know it isn't as practical as a 1911 or a glock. But it is about fun! And the gun looks like a lot of fun! Especially in pistol version.

Has anyone got any experience with the KRISS SDP Pistol? I'd love some opinion before hitting a store for one or waiting on a PPT. Hahaha.

I'd rather be at the range!

I haven't shot one, but there's a dude out here in Northern Idaho where I go to shoot on National Forest Land who has one. He goes out there a couple times a month and just litters the place with hundreds and hundreds of .45 shells then leaves. Walks around, shooting and walking, just blasting away rapid fire full-on assault mode, then hops in the rig and goes. Piles of brass just all over the place haha.

Looks like fun to shoot if you can afford going through .45 like that!

I held the carbine version today and also have the bug. Need to sell an EMP and RIA to afford it though.

You can have full auto, just not here.

How often do these even come up and are available for PPT? 2 or 3 in a year?

I heard they were working on a real pistol. Not a sbr with no stock. I'd wait for that instead...

No, that gun does not exist. I've seen it before, it's only a CAD drawing. I wish it existed though.

No experience with the KRISS SDP Pistol.

Since, it is not on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, it will need to be transfered as a dimensionally single-shot pistol.
Since, it accepts a magazine outside of the pistol grip, it will need to operate using a fixed 10 round or less magazine to be CA legal.

Also, Direct Action Shooters has them in stock.

That is pretty interesting - too bad I haven't seen any firing demos yet, nor do I think there are any around.
